Establish and maintain working relationship with all 3rd party payors.Provide physician education relating to appropriate level of care, pre-authorization process, denials, ect.Ability to mentor staff. Position is a salaried position, Director expectations to include maintaining 7 day a week resource management coverage. Strong organizational skills Knowledgeable in multiple computer systems and software, including but not limited to, AS400/Pulse, Kronos, and VisionRequirements: Previous Resource Management experience. Ability to activate and create accountability Proven ability to work closely with physicians Knowledge of physician/hospital relationships Budgeting and strategies for service line growthEducation and/or Experience Required: Bachelors degree in Nursing; Masters preferred. 5+ years Resource Management and/or nurse leadership experience, preferred MUST BE A LICENSED REGISTERED NURSE in the state of Florida Working knowledge of Kepro, Blue Cross of Alabama, and TricareThis opportunity offers a VERY attractive starting salary with a great comprehensive benefits package and an annual bonus.
